”Scrunch/Live is part of several works that are based on everyday, found objects: a scrunched up piece of tissue paper, a penny, foil from a chocolate wrapper, a plastic bag. I play with simple electrical circuits and light to transform these ordinary, mass-produced objects, re-valuing them as elemental materials. Electricity flows through them, hidden, unseen, they become conductors of a magical source of energy. They become live.”

Areas of Expertise:
Lighting design, product design, light, conceptual, installations, temporal, collaborative, experimental, interaction design, low tech, sustainable, green, utilitarian, mass produced, everyday, mundane, revalue, deconstruct.
