Lin Cheung
Keep
10th September - 1st November 2015

Keep is a wry look at how a jewellery artist stores her own jewellery.
Unceremoniously tucked in corners of plastic grip seal bags, wrapped like a slice of cake in kitchen paper, scrunched up in a tissue, folded in a handkerchief or secured with paper and an elastic band are just some of the ways the artist’s personal jewellery is stashed and stowed.
Lin presents a small series of jewellery objects that explore the more pragmatic side of owning personal possessions.
Lin Cheung is a jewellery artist and has exhibited her work internationally. She works from her rural studio in the South of England and also teaches Jewellery Design at Central Saint Martins. Lin has recently published a new book of her work: TOMFOOLERY Objects & Jewellery that brings together 10 years of personal and public projects, collaborations and commissions.
