Between Places
between places where people, ideas and materials meet

Quay2c is a multi-disciplinary design practice of Architects, Designers and Artists set up in January 2000 to celebrate the new millennium. It specialises in considering design in the environment from infrastructural issues down to the finest detail. Quay2c is formed from the broad range of experience that the “Quay” workers bring to the practice. There is a mutual recognition that in an increasingly digital world, flexibility of response to shifting contexts is a key ingredient for designers in fulfilling client expectations of creativity, deadlines and budgets. In this sense, Quay2c is particularly interested in blurring the edges between the old architectural boundaries, both as a creative questioning within the practice and as a tool towards an integrated and holistic service.

Quay2c website updated!

Updated website

We have completed a comprehensive review of our website and, with the help of our original designer Edd at Cherrymark the site has been overhauled and made more intuitive and navigable. Projects have now been broken down by sector, and we have added a new area for ‘connections’ where we will be posting entries about people, companies and products we have spotted or been working with. Have a browse around and see if you can spot the changes!
